Bryne's Project
New Pier, Seating Area, Ramp, and Floating slip
*Pilings: Four galvanized telescopic piling systems are installed to secure the floating slip. There are also marine quality piling guides bolted to the frame of the floating slip that the telescopic pilings fit inside of. Marine grade wood pilings were driven into the lake bed to support the new pier.
* Frame: 2 x 8 pressure treated lumber fastened together with galvanized rust resistant bolts.
* Frame Encasements: Pressure treated 2 x 10 lumber through bolted to the side of the frame on the pier, seating area, ramp, and floating slip with galvanized rust resistant bolts. The 2 x 10 lumber encased the frames and created an inset decking effect.
* Floatation: Black Formex floats bolted to the frame with galvanized rust resistant bolts.
* Dock Rubbers: Astro Nautics dock rubbers were installed to the sides of the floating slip with black PolyTop nails. Also on each corner is an extra padded corner dock rubber.
* Decking: Khaki colored Veka decking was fastened down with stainless steel screws.
* Handrail Posts and Handrails: 6 x 6 pressure treated handrail posts were through bolted to the side of the frame on the pier, seating area and ramp with galvanized bolts. Between the posts is a pressure treated wood picket system. The top rail is kahaki colored Veka decking.
